Meera's paper about the influence of ground motion duration on structural response has been accepted for publication by Structural Safety! A copy of the manuscript is provided on the publications page.

Prof. Liel will be making two presentations at the 15th World Conference in Earthquake Engineering in Lisbon next week. One focuses on prediction of building fragility in an aftershock situation for mainshock damaged buildings. The other is a state of the art on collapse prediction for concrete and masonry buildings for a workshop on global vulnerability estimation methods for the Global Earthquake Model.
